I’m Vinny. I make maths a little more surprising, from KS2–KS5 workshops to keynotes that get the whole room thinking. Expect questions, discoveries and a few puzzled faces.
Based in Enderby, near Leicester. School workshops and teacher CPD across the East Midlands and West Midlands.

Doubling your number and adding 10, then halving the total, leaves your original number plus 5. Subtract your starting number and only 5 remains. The surprise opens the door to the explanation.

02 / THE PERSON BEHIND THE IDEAS
I’m an author, inventor and mathemagician. I’m also a qualified solicitor with a Master’s in Law. The short answer to “What do you do?” is rarely short.
Through Tricky Maths, Neo Magic and Mind Burp Games, I share maths, magic, games and books. I have over 300 tricks in my repertoire, but I still love a simple idea that gets a big reaction.
Give me a number, a pack of cards or a familiar pattern and I’ll start wondering what else it could do. That curiosity runs through my workshops, talks and writing.
I want people to leave thinking, “I could have a go at that.” That’s when the fun really starts.
